Home Warranty

You may want to consider purchasing a home warranty on the property you are selling.  All home warranties vary, but most have coverage on items such as the heating system, central air conditioning system, appliances, electrical and plumbing systems. 

A home warranty helps protect the sellers so that if something breaks after the buyers move in then it may be covered by the home warranty.  Many warranties also cover the sellers so that they do not have to spend money on "non-staging items" on a property that they are selling.

The property will usually be covered for one year from the time of purchase for certain repairs if needed. 

Once the year passes the buyer will have the opportunity to renew the warranty.
